TL;DR:
A candle in a fragrance made for your company earns a place on a counter, and it keeps working there for months. CRAV Co. produces candles, room sprays, and diffusers in a scent composed for one company, with packaging designed to your brand standards, for client gifts, employee gifts, closing gifts, and hotel amenities. If you need something sooner, our Fall Collection is on the shelf now: Autumn Nights, Madagascar Cider, and Crisp Leaves. And if you know someone impossible to buy for, gift them an hour at the Candle Bar.
CRAV Co. is a modern fragrance house based in Dallas, with a flagship studio in the Dallas Farmers Market and a second at The Star in Frisco. We compose fragrances alongside a master perfumer, produce them as candles, room sprays, and diffusers under our partners' own labels, and run the Candle Bar and Perfume Bar where people make their own.

Frequently asked questions
What Makes a Gift Get Kept
Three things, and a gift needs at least two of them.
It has to be useful in an ordinary way. Not useful in the sense of a desk accessory nobody asked for, but useful the way a thing you would have bought anyway is useful. Something that gets used up slowly and then replaced works best, because the replacing is where a habit starts.
It has to look like it belongs. Something that suits a person's house gets used in it, which makes this mostly a question of restraint. The logo is where that restraint pays off most, and a small one earns a better spot on the shelf than a large one.
And it should feel like it was chosen rather than ordered. That is harder to fake than the other two, and it is mostly a function of how much thought is visible in the details: the weight of the box, whether the card was printed or written, whether the thing inside suits the person or suits the budget.
A candle in a considered fragrance does all three at once, and it holds up at any quantity, which is a rare combination.
One honest note on range. If your list includes people who prefer not to burn anything, or who work somewhere where an open flame is not practical, room sprays and diffusers carry the same fragrance without it, and a gift card lets them choose. We mention it because a list is usually more varied than a single product, and matching the format to the person is part of what makes a gift land.
Two Ways to Give a Scent
You can give a fragrance that belongs to your company, composed for you and made under your own label. That is the version with the most weight behind it, and it takes a few weeks to build. Sections three through five are about that.
Or you can give a fragrance we already make, wrapped well and chosen carefully. That version is available today and it costs you nothing in lead time. Sections six and seven are about that.
Gifting in a Fragrance That Is Yours Alone
A custom scent is composed for one company and used nowhere else. We build it alongside a master perfumer, starting from your brand rather than from a catalog, and when it is finished, we do not reissue it to anyone, ever.
Once that fragrance exists, it can be made into anything. Candles are the most common by a wide margin, because a candle is the most giftable object we make. Room sprays travel better and suit a smaller gesture. Diffusers suit the recipient who has a space where an open flame is prohibited.
What makes this land as a gift rather than as merchandise is that the fragrance is genuinely yours. A recipient who likes it cannot go buy more of it anywhere, which means every time they want that smell again, they are thinking about you. That is an unusual position for a gift to put you in, and it is the entire reason this works better than it has any right to.
The Packaging Is Half the Gift
This is the part companies underestimate, and recipients notice first.
Our in-house designer builds packaging to your brand standards: the box, the label, the card, the wrap. The goal is restraint. A gift that reads as a gift with your name on it quietly will outperform a gift that reads as an advertisement with a candle inside, every time, and the difference is usually just scale and placement.
Our own rule of thumb is that the logo should be the second thing someone notices, not the first. Put the fragrance name and a real sentence about it on the front, and set your mark small and low on the label. The recipient already knows who it is from. They opened the card.
Custom labels are available on almost everything we produce, including for one-off occasions like an event, an anniversary, or a brand.
What to Write on the Card
Three rules that have never failed us. Write it by hand if the list is short enough to allow it, because handwriting is the only part of a gift that cannot be outsourced and everyone knows it. Name something specific that happened this year, since a card that could have gone to anyone reads as a mail merge no matter how warm the wording is. And stop before you mention next year. The moment a thank you reaches forward, it stops being a thank you.
For larger lists where handwriting every card is not realistic, print the body and sign each one. The signature is doing most of the work anyway. And if the gift is going to somebody's home rather than their office, address it to the household rather than the title, which is a small change that moves the whole gesture from professional to personal.

Give the Season, Already Made
Custom work has a runway. If what you need is fifteen good gifts by the end of the month, the Fall Collection is already on the shelf in both studios and online.
Autumn Nights, Madagascar Cider, and Crisp Leaves each come as a candle, a room spray, and a fragrance oil. They are the same clean, soy-based formulations we use in every commercial program, poured by hand in Dallas, and our smallest candles burn 40 hours or more. As a gift, they need nothing but a ribbon, and they are the most reliable thing we sell for the situation where you need to give something good this week.
They are seasonal, which is worth knowing if you are planning a gift list rather than buying one present. The collection stays while it lasts.
Which Fall Scent Suits Which Person
Autumn Nights, for the host
Warm, grounding, a little sultry. It reads as evening, and it holds its own in a room with people in it, which is exactly what someone hosting through the season needs.
Madagascar Cider, for the one who has everything
Spiced apple cider softened with Madagascar vanilla. It’s the richest of the three.
Crisp Leaves, for a coworker or a new house
Fresh, earthy, and barely sweet. Low sweetness makes it the safest of the three for someone whose taste you do not know well, and the least likely to feel too intimate for a professional relationship.

Client Gifts
The client gift has to say thank you without asking for anything back. That rules out anything that doubles as an ad.
Scent is unusually good at that. It is genuinely useful and completely unaggressive, so nobody feels marketed to by a candle. It sits in a house, it gets lit on an ordinary evening, and the association it builds is warm rather than transactional. Very little else in the category manages to be both generous and quiet at the same time.
For a top-tier client list, a custom candle in your own fragrance with a handwritten card is close to the best version of this that exists. For a broader list, the same fragrance in a room spray keeps the gesture intact at a scale that makes sense. For an outside list where you do not know the recipients well, one of our fall scents with your card attached does the job without pretending to a closeness you do not have. Employee and Team Gifts
Employee gifting rewards one simple instinct: choose the thing people would have picked for themselves.
A candle is an easy yes here for a reason. It is personal without being presumptuous; it works regardless of whether someone drinks, has kids, or has dietary restrictions, and it goes home rather than staying on a desk. A gift that leaves the building is a gift that gets used.
If your team is large enough that one scent will not suit everyone, let people choose. We have partners who send a card redeemable across the collection, and others who bring the whole team in and let each person build their own at the Candle Bar. The choosing is a meaningful part of the gift, and it costs nothing to include.
For a company with a custom fragrance already in the building, giving employees the scent of their own workplace is one of the better uses of it. People develop real attachments to a space they spend their days in, and taking that home is a quietly generous thing to offer.
Closing Gifts and the House Someone Just Bought
Real estate has been the fastest adopter of scent gifting we have seen, and the reason is practical.
A closing gift arrives at the exact moment a house is emptiest and least personal. New paint, new carpet, boxes everywhere, and a smell that belongs to the building rather than to anyone. A candle is one of the very few gifts that improves that specific situation on the day it arrives.
Agents and residential groups who give in their own fragrance get something else out of it. The scent of the first evening in a new house is a memory people keep for decades, and if that memory belongs to your brand, you are in a referral conversation for years without having to ask. Our partners in this category reorder every year, which is the clearest signal we have that it works.
Construction firms and high-end apartment communities use the same idea at handover and move-in. We build closing and handover gifting programs for all three.
Hotels and Restaurants: The Amenity That Sells Itself
A candle in your own fragrance can sit in a suite as an amenity, go home with a VIP as a gift, and sell at the front desk to the guest who asked where the smell came from. One production run, three jobs. Restaurants do a lighter version of this with room sprays and diffusers, usually starting with staff and regulars before putting anything on a shelf.
Give an Hour Instead of an Object
The Candle Bar is an hour of choosing from our oils, pouring an 11 oz candle, and naming it whatever you like. Drinks are included, and no experience is needed. The Perfume Experience is the same idea at a higher register: a guided blending session and a custom fragrance at the end, in packaging worth handing over.
Gift cards cover any of it, and they are the honest answer for a recipient whose taste you genuinely cannot predict. They are also the easiest thing in this entire guide to send at the last minute, which we mention because somebody reading this needs to hear it.
One of our guests, Spring E., described a friend's birthday here as an experience where "they don't just create products, they create moments."
A Team Night as the Gift
A private event runs about 90 minutes and starts at 10 guests. Guided candle making, complimentary wine and refreshments, all materials included, custom labels if you want your brand on what everyone takes home. At either studio, or we bring the whole setup to your office.
It works as a gift because it is not a meeting with a craft attached. Everyone leaves with something they made, which is a better object than anything you could have bought them.
How Custom Gifting With CRAV Co. Works
One: the brief
We ask who is receiving the gift, how many people are on the list, and the date it has to be in their hands. That is enough for us to tell you which path fits, and it takes one call.
What we need from you: the list size and the date.
Two: the fragrance
For a custom scent, we compose options with our perfumer and send you samples so you can try them in a real room instead of judging a fragrance from a description. You tell us what to change, we adjust, and two or three rounds get it right. If you would rather use a fragrance we already make, this step drops out entirely.
What we need from you: your notes on the samples.
Three: packaging
Our designer builds the label and the outer packaging to your brand standards and sends you proofs to sign off on. Candles, room sprays, and diffusers all take the same treatment, so a mixed gift still looks like one set.
What we need from you: your brand files and one approval on the proof.
Four: production
We pour, fill, label, and pack in Dallas.
What we need from you: nothing.
Five: delivery
One address or three hundred. Shipping to individual homes is common now that recipient lists are rarely in one building, and it changes the packaging rather than the timeline.
What we need from you: a spreadsheet of names and addresses.
Quantities, Timing, and What to Expect
We produce gifting runs at almost any size, from a small list of top clients to several hundred units. Starting with the people who matter most is usually smarter than a company-wide send you only do once.
Timing: Four stages sit between the first call and a delivered gift: composing the fragrance, sampling rounds, packaging design and approval, then production. A custom program runs all four. A gift built from our existing collection runs only the last one, which is why it can be out the door in a fraction of the time.
Where it ships: One delivery to one office is simple. Two hundred people at two hundred home addresses is a different job, and it is the more common one now. We do both, but shipping to individuals changes how the packaging has to be built, so it belongs in the first conversation rather than the last.
Give us your delivery date before anything else. We will tell you which path clears it, and if the honest answer is that the custom program should start in January while a fall scent carries you through this season, we will say that.
Host Gifts and the Dinner You Were Invited To
The best host gift is the one that doesn't make anything harder for the person hosting. Flowers need a vase and trimming. Food forces a decision about whether to serve it now. A candle needs nothing, which is why it has become the default for showing up at someone's house, and the only thing separating a good one from a forgettable one is the scent.
Autumn Nights is our pick for the season. If the house is already full of people, bring the room spray instead of the candle. Nobody is lighting anything mid-party, and a spray gets used the next morning.
The Person Who Already Has Everything
Someone who owns everything isn't short on objects. What they rarely get is something picked out with them in mind. Fragrance is one of the few gifts where that thought shows, because you had to decide something about them before you could choose it.
Madagascar Cider is usually where we point people. Spiced apple cider softened with Madagascar vanilla, warm and a little unexpected, and it doesn't smell like anything already sitting in their house. If you want to go further, give them an hour at the Perfume Bar instead. They leave with a fragrance built around their own taste, and nobody else in the world has it.
Made in Dallas
Everything we make is built on clean, skin-safe, soy-based formulations, blended by professional perfumers, and hand-poured in Dallas with locally sourced materials.
For a gift, this matters more than it does for something you buy yourself. You are putting an object into a house you have not seen, with people and pets and sensitivities you do not know about. A clean formulation is the difference between a gift that gets used and a gift that gets politely moved to a closet, and it is the reason the same products work in clinics and dental practices and family-facing retail.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can we get candles with our company's own scent and branding?
Yes. CRAV Co. composes a fragrance for one company alongside a master perfumer, then produces it as candles, room sprays, and diffusers under your own label, with packaging built by our in-house designer to your brand standards. The scent is exclusive to you and we do not reissue it.
What are good corporate gift ideas that clients actually keep?
Something useful, unbranded enough to suit their home, and clearly chosen. A candle in a fragrance made for your company meets all three, which is why CRAV Co. builds client gifting programs for real estate groups, hotels, restaurants, clinics, and apartment communities across Dallas and beyond.
How many gifts do we have to order?
Runs scale from a short list of top clients to several hundred units. CRAV Co. builds the size that fits the list rather than a fixed minimum, so tell us the headcount and the date and we will tell you what makes sense.
We need gifts soon. Is custom still an option?
A custom fragrance needs sampling rounds and packaging approval before production begins, so it needs lead time. If your date is close, CRAV Co. carries the Fall Collection now in Autumn Nights, Madagascar Cider, and Crisp Leaves, ready to give with no lead time at all.
What is a good gift for someone who already has everything?
An experience rather than an object. At CRAV Co. you can give an hour at the Candle Bar or the Perfume Bar, where they blend and take home a fragrance that exists for one person. Gift cards cover any of it if you would rather they choose the date.
Do you ship gifts outside of Texas?
Yes. CRAV Co. is based in Dallas with a second studio in Frisco, and we produce and ship gifting programs for brand partners well outside Texas. We can send to one address or to many, which is usually the real question with a recipient list.
